Friday, June 10th, 2022

Edward W. Bradley joined the Willowvale Fire Company, Inc. on May 16, 1963. Ed became a life member in January 2005 and changed to honorary member status in November 2009. He remained involved in Fire Company events and attended monthly meetings through 2013.

During his fifty years with the Fire Company, Ed was elected to many positions, including President, Vice President, Fire Police Delegate, and Fire Police Captain, a position he held for 35 years. In addition to his duties with the Fire Company, Ed was an active member of the Oneida County and New York State Fire Police Associations, holding the positions of President and State Director, respectively.

Ed's captivating smile could light up any room and his positive attitude provided motivation for many members during his tenure with the Fire Company. We are forever thankful for his commitment to the Willowvale Fire Company and to the community he loved. Rest in peace, Captain Bradley, we will take it from here.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home 3022 Oneida St. Sauquoit with the Rev. Joseph Salerno officiating.
